My sister and her family live around the corner from you guys in Bayard Estates. When I get down to visit I always stop by for a hello and to see whats new. I have been involved with Fire/EMS for over 35 years and enjoy the freindships I have made all over the country. I wonder if the people in the Kennett Square area know how fortunate they are to have a group of such freindly, dedicated and most of all incredibly resourceful firefighters at their beck and call. I have always had strong interests in stats, apparatus photography, and innovations within the fire service and I have to say for a department of your size, you guys are NUMBER 1. Very organized and very well equipped to handle ANYTHING. Look forward to my next visit. Stay safe. GRB

I just wanted to say how much I miss all of you. I hope that one day I can go back and be part of the family once again.
Thank you for being firefighters and keeping people safe. I applaud your service to your community. Thank you for all that you do. I’d like to let you know about some special Firefighters tribute pages on my website. I set them up to honor firefighters everywhere. If you get a chance, please check them out. Stay safe and have a great day.
A special thanks to the Kennett Fire Company for coordinating and providing the emergency services needed to support the Kennett Run for over 21 year.

My dad and grandfather were members of your company. I was wondering if you will be posting any photos so I can access their photos. My dad was Richard "Dick" Smith, and my grandfather was Bill Hayward. They would have been members in the 50's. Thanks! Laura

Monk, Bubba, Gina (Gunk), Marc, Henry & Roster and the rest of the old crew,
I wanted to let all of you know that I've been thinking of all the old crew and the fun we had back in the day and how much I miss the friendship & brotherhood the firehouse brought to me. I do not make it back to Kennett very much even though I only live in Delaware but the next time I do I'll stop to by.
I like the website.
Monk I heard that you gave Mike and my nephew a private tour of the firehouse.
Hey Tony, just a note to say hello from Canada Eh! I love the UNIMOG, what a rig that is. Can't wait to visit your fire house some day.

I am a German firefighter and Interesiere me for the American fire brigade and everything hangs up together what with it. I have already had a look at many Internet pages, many sides were not any more an on-line. Until I have bumped into your side. I must say it is really made good. So it was this first from Germany. Wishes to you still a lot of luck, continues in such a way. :-))

Thank you for your search and recovery of one of my friends boys. They were the kayakers that went over the dam last Tuesday. It is people like you who risk their lives for the public that never seem to be thanked enough. Thank you.

Hey Justin, Well, I have been back home in Austrailia for about 2 months now. I loved living in Kennett Square for the year (Augusut 2006-August 2007) as an Au Pair (Nanny). It was a fantastic experience and one I will always remember. A very treasured memory was meeting you and getting to know you. I want to thank you so much for showing me the firehouse and fire trucks and what you do everyday when you put your life on the line to save peoples lives by firefighting. I truly respect you and everything you do. You and all your guys there at Kennett Fire Company No. 1 are top blokes. Keep up the good work guys. Luv Danni H
Dave, one of your firefighters, signed our guestbook so I'm finally getting around to returning the favor by visiting your website and find it to be very nice. I also notice that you have the exact same 1860 Cowing hand drawn engine as we do. It took a bit of time to restore ours but the work and the wait was well worth it. I don't think there are any others like it around as most departments have left their antique engines to rot away. Keep up the great work on the site and be safe.
In my fire company in Chile we are needing to replace our aerial, and Rosenbauer is one of the proponents.
I saw your Metz Aerial, could it be compared with any other of american design about its capacities?.
For example, could it reach a 4th floor from 80 ft?, something usual when there is obstacles between the building and the apparatus such as vehicles or any other kind of obstruction.
Could it flow a real master stream (1.000, 1.250 gpm) and direct it to the sides.
Thanks before hand and best regards
