The Kennett Criterium was the end race of the Chester County circuit where races traveled from across the world to visit our town in this auspicious occasion. Teams from as far as South Carolina and even New Zealand competed in this race. In between main events, the officials held exciting races for kids and even local celebrities such as past Mayor Spencer, current Mayor Fetick, and Representative Chris Ross. Kennett Fire Company stood by in an EMS capacity to assist with any medical needs during the event. Thankfully there was not much more than some minor road rash from small accidents during the race. The event went off without any major incidents and it certainly was an amazing site to see in this town. Hopefully next year they will return!
