21:15 Kennett Fire Company was dispatched as RIT (Rapid Intervention Team) to assist Avondale on a house fire. Reported that fire was behind the fire place, in the walls. Initial crews arrived on scene and extinguished the flames utilizing hand lines. The fire was quickly put under control by Chief 23. Kennett continued in to assist with overhaul operations. Crews ensured the fire did not spread and was extinguished fully. Nobody was injured during this fire. Exact cause of the fire still under investigation by Chester County Fire Marshals Office.
