Kennett Fire Company was dispatched to assist Station 23, Avondale Fire Company, on a garage fire on Baltimore Pike in New Garden Township about 18:30. Kennett's Engine arrived early on with Avondale's Engine. Hand lines were immediately deployed and pulled around back to the garage. The fire was swiftly extinguished. Nobody was injured on this incident. Cause of the fire is still under investigation by Chester County Fire Marshall's Office.
