| On Tuesday evening March 31, 2009 the Company was dispatched for a fire type unknown in the Bucktoe Hills Area. While en-route the Chief was advised that it possibly could be a garage. After the call was upgraded, the first units arrived on scene, it was found to be a Shed approximately 20x10. The shed housed the pumps and filters for a large fish pond. The shed was totally destroyed. Members from Kennett Fire Co and Avondale Fire Co. Helped the owner remove the fish to another pond in hopes of saving them. Units were in-service for over 1 hour. Fire is under investigation by the Chester County Fire Marshalls Office. |
