| On Saturday May 15th, The Kennett Fire Company stood by at the Anson B. Nixon Park for the annual Kennett Run. Ambulance 24-1 and Ambulance 24-2 staged at the finish line as well as the first aid tent. Engine 24-6 supplied water at the finish line for a sprinkler so that runners could cool off after the run. Engine 24-2 secured a LZ for Sky Care 1 in the park. All in all the event ran smoothly and Kennett units cleared the park around noon. Thank you to Avondale and Longwood EMS for their assistance.
