At 12:04PM Kennett Fire Company was dispatched to 138 Old Kennett Rd for a small brush fire reported to be a 20' x 20' area that was 80' from the residence. Brush 24 and Tanker 24 along with the Chief and Ambulance 24-2 made the response to find a small brush fire that was mostly extinguished by the homeowner. The crew from Brush 24 deployed shovels and the booster reel to extinguish the remaining fire and to make sure there were no hotspots. Crews cleaned up and returned available soon after.
