New Years Eve Fire |

Kennett Fire Company was dispatched to 200 E Linden St at approximately 10:20 pm on New Years Eve for a Structure fire. Due to the type of construction of the house, extensive overhaul was necessary to ensure the fire was completely out. Overhaul is a process where crews have to remove the wall and ceiling materials to check for fire and extension behind. Older buildings tend to take far more overhaul and are very manpower intensive. Thanks to all of our neighboring companies for spending the New Year assisting us and the Kennett Square residents. |
