Station 24 was dispatched to Hillendale road at 13:59 for a house fire. Chief Melton arrived on scene to heavy fire showing from multiple locations. Engine 24-1 arrived on scene first followed quickly by Tower 24. The engine laid large diameter hose up the driveway from Hillendale road for water supply. Crews made entry through the first floor access to find heavy fire in the stair well from the first to second floors. Crews progressed to the second floor where they found multiple rooms on fire, as well as into the third floor. A tanker task force was utilized for water supply as there were no close hydrants that could be utilized. Crews worked well into the evening to ensure the fire was out with extensive overhaul.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Chester County Fire Marshall's Office. All occupants were evacuated safely from the residence. No injuries occurred on this fire.
