Late evening, Station 24 was dispatched to Mill Road to assist Po-Mar-Lin with extinguishing a brush fire. Units responded to a nearby address and deployed the Brush and ATV along with manpower to saturate the affected are that was already under control by Station 36 units. Due to limited access, the off road units were very helpful in efforts on the top side of the hill aiding ATV 36. When handling brush incidents, fire crews always soak a perimeter of about ten feet past where the fire stopped just to be safe.
