Station 24 was dispatched to Clay Creek Road to assist Avondale on a house fire. Upon arrival, Kennett's orders were to deploy hand lines to the rear of the structure, and stop the fire spread both through the woods and on the back side of the attached garage. Once the assignment was completed, overhaul was done on the back side of the garage to ensure no further fire spread.

All occupants of the house were safe. The cause is still under investigation by the Chester County Fire Marshal's Office.
