At 11:29am on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, Kennett Fire Company and Longwood Fire Company were dispatched for a two-vehicle automobile accident with entrapment at the intersection of Bayard Road and Old Kennett Road in Kennett Township.

Crews secured the vehicles, extricated one patient from a vehicle by removing the driver's door, and cleared debris from the roadway. The drivers of each vehicle were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The vehicles were removed from the scene by Blittersdorf's Towing.

Fire police from Kennett Fire Company and Longwood Fire Company provided traffic control and closed roads in the area.

Crews cleared the scene around 12:30pm.
