Accident with Entrapment - McFarlan and Rosedale Roads

At 6:09pm on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, Kennett Fire Company and Longwood Fire Company were dispatched for a two-vehicle automobile accident at the intersection of McFarlan Road and Rosedale Road in Kennett Township. Upon arrival at the scene, crews determined that a patient was trapped in one of the vehicles. The incident was upgraded to a serious accident with entrapment.

Crews secured the vehicles, extricated one patient from a vehicle by removing a passengers' side door, and cleared debris from the roadway. One patient was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The vehicles were removed from the scene by Blittersdorf's Towing.

Fire police from Kennett Fire Company and Longwood Fire Company provided traffic control and closed roads in the area.

Crews cleared the scene around 7:30pm.
