Just before 2:00pm on Thursday, July 21st, Kennett Fire Company and Longwood Fire Company were dispatched for an automobile accident in the 200 block of West State Street in Kennett Square Borough. Crews arrived to find a two-vehicle accident blocking the left lane. EMS personnel checked the occupants of the vehicles and determined that there were no injuries. Fire and EMS apparatus cleared while fire police from both fire companies remained on scene and provided traffic control until tow operators from Blittersdorf's Towing arrived and removed the vehicles. Fire police cleared the scene at 3:10pm.
