At 10:12pm on Thursday, October 20, 2022, Kennett Fire Company and other mutual aid, were dispatched to assist Avondale Fire Company at a fire in the 100 block of Rocky Springs Road in New Garden Township. Kennett's crews provided manpower and assisted with overhaul while working at the scene for about two hours.

Kennett's fire police assisted with traffic control for the duration of the incident.

The last units cleared the scene at 12:30am.
