At 7:20pm on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, Kennett Fire Company responded to assist Po-Mar-Lin Fire Company and Longwood Fire Company with an accident near the intersection of Green Valley Road and W. Doe Run Road in East Marlborough Township. It was reported that a vehicle went off the roadway and into a ditch. Kennett's Chief 24, Engine 24, Rescue 24, and fire police responded to the scene.

Units arrived to find a vehicle left the roadway, gone into a ditch, and struck a utility pole. Crews from Engine 24 assisted with removing debris from the roadway and provided lighting at the scene while crews from Rescue 24 assisted with traffic control until fire police arrived.

Fire police from Kennett Fire Company and Longwood Fire Company closed W. Doe Run Road and detoured traffic around the scene. The PA State Police investigated the incident and Blitterdorf's Towing removed the damaged vehicle.

The last units cleared the scene at 8:41pm.
