At 9:11pm on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, Kennett Fire Company, Longwood Fire Company, and Po-Mar-Lin Fire Company responded to an accident in the 200 block of West Hillendale Road in Kennett Township. Units arrived at the scene and reported a one-vehicle accident with the vehicle in a creek.
Firefighters entered the water to check the vehicle and confirmed that no fluids were leaking into the water. Apparatus provided lighting at the scene while tow operators from Blittersdorf's Towing removed the vehicle from the creek.
Two occupants of the vehicle were evaluated by EMS personnel and declined treatment. Kennett Fire Company's fire police closed West Hillendale Road between Chandler Mill Road and Scarlett Road for the duration of the incident.
