Around 10:15pm on Friday, March 24th, Kennett Fire Company and Longwood Fire Company were dispatched for an automobile accident at the intersection of N. Union and State Streets in Kennett Square Borough with two pedestrians struck.

Crews arrived and found one pedestrian laying in the roadway. Firefighters secured the striking vehicle and assisted EMS personnel with patient care. One patient was transported to the hospital, while the second patient declined treatment at the scene.

Fire police from Kennett, Longwood, and Po-Mar-Lin Fire Companies provided traffic control during the incident.

The last units cleared the scene at 10:48pm.
