Just after 8:00 this morning, Kennett Fire Company responded to assist Longwood Fire Company with a mulch fire in the 300 block of Longwood Road in East Marlborough Township. Engine 24 responded and assisted with extinguishment, while Tanker 24 provided 3,000 gallons of water at the scene.

Fire Police from Kennett Fire Company, Longwood Fire Company, and Po-Mar-Lin Fire Company assisted with traffic control at the Tanker fill site at the intersection of Longwood Road and Schoolhouse Road.

Crews cleared the scene at 10:30am.
