At approximately 7:10pm on Saturday, February 17th, crews were alerted for an accident at the intersection of S. Union and W. South Streets in Kennett Square Borough. Engine 24 arrived to find a two-vehicle accident involving an SUV and a van.

Crews arrived and quickly evaluated the drivers, and secured the vehicles. Longwood Fire Company's Rescue 25 arrived and assisted with vehicle checks and cleanup. 

PECO was called to the scene to check one utility pole that was struck. 

With the assistance of Utility 24 and Po-Mar-Lin Fire Company's Utility 36, Fire Police from Kennett and Longwood detoured traffic until tow operators from Blittersdorf's removed the vehicles and cleared the roadway.

All units cleared the scene around 8:30pm.
