A new year begins with a new level of training. Training has been taken to a new height. These firefighters continued their training in the proper techniques of high angle rescue. Tonight's rescue techniques were being instructed by Captain Marc Anderson. Firefighters must be fully knowlegable not only in firefighting, but also in multiple rescue techniques including rope and high angle.

Tonight firefighters learned the proper use of lifting and lowering equipment which can be used in confined space and high elevation rescue. This training will become more advanced and demanding as the year goes on.
