| Around 720pm Wendsday evening, the Kennett Fire Co. #1 responded to a house fire on Hillendale Rd. Upon arrival fire was visible on the roof. Firefighters quickly laddered the house and advanced a hose line to the roof to contain the fire. The fire was contained and under control within minutes of arriving. The house only suffered minor damage. No firefighters or civilians were injured. |
