On Friday, May 18, Kennett firefighters Matt Singer and Sharon Locklin were lookin' good as they cruised to Sharon's Senior Prom in North Wilmington. Both agreed that stretch limos are just the norm at a Prom - they could do better than that! It appears they were right. Engine 24-1, driven by Deputy Chief Bruce Mitchell and joined by Matt's older brother Lieutenant Jeff Singer, was shined up special for the occasion and picked the two up from Sharon's home in Avondale. Prom attendees were astonished as the pair arrived at Double Tree Hotel on Concord Pike and definitely took the 1st place for originality.

Kennett Fire Company also congratulates Sharon as she graduates Avon Grove High School this May!

WE ARE PENN STATE!
