The Kennett Fire Company, along with MICU-25, was dispatched for a serious auto accident along Kaolin Road in Kennett Township. Upon arrival of Deputy 24 he found 1 vehicle in the roadway with 2 patients trapped inside. Patient 1 was extricated and prepared for transport. Patient 2 was also extricated and prepared for transport. Patient 2 was transported to Christiana Hospital via Sky Flightcare. Patient 1 was transported by the Chester County Coroners Office.
Kaolin Road remained closed for several hours as the Pa State Police reconstruction and criminal team could investigate the accident scene. Roadway reopened at 0400 hours Friday.
