On the weekend of March 27th and 28th members of The Kennett Fire Company traveled to the Conestoga River in Lancaster, PA to participate in Advanced Lines Systems Rescue. Kennett Fire Company firefighters conducted advanced water rescue evolutions during the training session. This course gave members additional skills and techniques to utilize in the event of water related emergencies. The Kennett Fire Company would like to thank White Cap Water Rescue Training and the instructors Todd Stahl, Greg Miller, and Alex Myers for sharing their wealth of information and experience with us.
The Kennett Fire Company No. 1 would like to remind motorists to never drive through flooded roadways, and to always use caution in and around waterways.
