On Tuesday April 19th, 2011 members of Kennett Fire Company covered for Hockessin Fire Company (Station 19). Engine 24-2 along with Engine 23-2 (Avondale) and Ladder 25 (Longwood) stood by at Station 19. Crews were briefed with response orders and stood by until approximately 1600 hours. Fortunately crews did not have to respond to any alarms.
