This afternoon, Kennett Fire Company responded toe the intersection of Rosedale Road and McFarlan Road. Deputy 24 arrived on scene to a 2 vehicle accident, both vehicles off the road way, 1 patient trapped in their vehicle. EMS crews arrived on scene and immediately began to provide patient care. Engine 24-1's crew stabilized the vehicle with cribbing and then began disassembling the car utilizing hydraulic tools. Engine 24-2 and Squad 24's crews assisted with man power. Pennstar Helicopter was called in by Deputy 24 early into the call for rapid transport to a trauma center. Once the vehicle was removed from around the patient, they were immobilized on a long back board for transport.
