After a strong storm passed through the area, Po-Mar-Lin and Longwood Fire Companies as well as Kennett Fire Company for an Engine were dispatched to Mill Road for a mobile home fire. Assistant Chief 36 arrived on scene confirming a working mobile home fire, all occupants have evacuated safely. Crews arrived on scene and utilized hand lines to extinguish the fire rapidly. Engine 24-1's crew assisted with suppression. Once the fire was under control, Assistant 36 released our crew to cover the local once more. Fire Marshals are still investigating the cause of this fire.
