Mid day, Kennett Fire Company was dispatched to assist Avondale Fire Company on a house fire. Officers arrived on scene to find a single family dwelling with the attached garage full involved. Initial Engine crew laid their supply hose up the drive way and immediately went into offensive operations to protect the house. Tanker 23 finished the hose lay to the hydrant. Kennett's engine crew assisted Avondale's crew with interior operations. Other fire crews ascended the driveway with tools to assist operations. The fire was placed under control without any injuries to emergency services personnel. The cause of the fire is still under investigation by county Fire Marshals.
