06:59 Dispatched to Kaolin Road and Marshall Bridge Road for an auto accident reported one vehicle on fire. Ambulance 24-1 arrived on scene confirming that two vehicles were involved in the accident, all occupants were safe and out of the vehicles being assisted by Pennsylvania State Police, both vehicles were on fire. EMS attended to the occupants whom sustained minor injuries. Engine 24-2 arrived on scene and pulled a hand line to extinguish the fires. Crews ensured the flames were out and continued to soak the vehicles. Once the vehicles were removed by the towing agency, the roadway was swept of debris. Safety tip: Remember, fresh rain can cause the roadway to get very slick. Please use caution, especially around turns, when the roadway is wet.
