At 6:03pm on Tuesday, November 23rd, Avondale Fire Company was dispatched for a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of West Cypress Street and Scarlet Road in New Garden Township. Deputy 23 arrived and reported entrapment in one of the vehicles.

Since Kennett Fire Company had a staffed station, Rescue 24 responded to assist. Upon arrival, crews from Rescue 24 helped stabilize the vehicle that had the entrapment and assisted with patient extrication and care. Once patient extrication was complete, Kennett's crews assisted with clearing debris from the roadway.

Kennett's Squad 24 and Fire Police responded and assisted with traffic control in the area.
