On Monday, September 26th, Kennett Fire Company assisted Longwood Fire Company at a reported hit-and-run accident with entrapment near the intersection of Bayard Road and Baltimore Pike in East Marlborough Township. Crews arrived to find one vehicle on its roof on Bayard Road at Baltimore Pike with no entrapment. Firefighters assisted with clearing debris from the roadway and stood by due to leaking gasoline until Blittersdorf's Towing removed the vehicle. Fire police from both fire companies detoured traffic around the scene.
