By President Scott Danby
March 31, 2007
On Saturday morning, Kennett and Avondale Fire Companies ran through a series of pump excercises and drills at the old quarry in London Grove Twp. 24-1 and 24-2 were used to set up a practice draft operation while other crews exercised water rescue techniques. Avondale's crews ran similar drills during the session.
Units:
24-1, 24-2
Engine 24-1 and 24-2 have two roof mounted TNT nozzles that flow a combined 3000 gal/min. Each is individually remote controlled. (Don't worry-the power line in the picture is OOS)
