During the weekend of the 8th and 9th Kennett Square hosted approximently 100,000 visitors during th e towns annual mushroom festival. The Events included a Street Festival during both days and a community out door gathering Saturday evening. The Kennett Fire Company received assistance from the neighboring companies to make these events possible for the EMS division. The Kennett Fire Company would like to thank Po-Mar-Lin (station 36) and Avondale (Station 23) for their assistance with making the Mushroom festival events a success.
The Po-Mar-Lin Fire Company offered their assistance with Brush 36 making it easier to transport the members and any patients to a different location if needed.
The Avondale Fire Company (EMS Division) lended Ambulance 23-1 for first aid during the weekend of the Festival.
We appreciate the help and hope that they will be joining us next year as well!
